The company has informed that the Board of Directors in its Meeting held on August 13, 2026 decided to raise Tk. 300.00 Crore (Taka Three Hundred Crore) only through issuance of Contingent-Convertible Perpetual Bond as Additional Tier-I (AT-I) Capital to support Bank's Capital Base under Basel-III in line with Bangladesh Bank's Guidelines on Risk Based Capital Adequacy subject to approval of regulatory authorities.

The Company has further informed that 75,283 shares of the Company, held by Late Alhaj Mohammad Ali Sarker, a Sponsor of the Company, have been transmitted to the BO account of his nominee, Mr. Md. Amanullah Sarker (son of late Alhaj Mohammad Ali Sarker), Direcor of the Company by way of nomination as per the news disseminated by DSE on August 06, 2026.

The Company has informed that Alhaj Mohammad Ali Sarker, one of the Sponsors of the Company, passed away on 02.08.2020. 75,283 shares out of his total holding of 79,047 shares of the Company will be transmitted to the account of his nominee, Mr. Md. Amanullah Sarker (son of late Alhaj Mohammad Ali Sarker), Direcor of the Company by way of nomination.
