Refer to their earlier news disseminated by DSE on 30.07.2026 regarding clarification on proposed resumption of production & Others, the company has further updated its production status, stating among others, the following: "...In our earlier letter, we stated that we expected to commence commercial operations by 30 September 2026. (cont.1) However, recent electricity shortages in rural areas and the resulting shortfall in the national grid have delayed the Company's receipt of the required electricity connection from the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB). Moreover, to facilitate the electricity connection, the Company has installed solar panels valued at approximately Tk.80 lakh and deposited approximately Tk. 50 lakh toward the connection costs specified by BPDB. (cont.2) Further, we would like to inform you that the Rice Bran the main raw material are available in market from the month of November, because of it is seasonal raw material. Due to insufficient of raw material (Rice Bran), we are not starting our commercial operation in of peak season..."

The Company has informed that the Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Md. Ashraful Alam as the Managing Director of the Company with effect from August 22, 2026.

The Company has informed that Mr. Miya Mamun has been appointed as the Chairman of the company with immediate effect.

In response to a DSE query to the company regarding "clarification regarding the proposed resumption of production and future business prospects" dated July 26, 2026, the company has submitted clarification vide its letter dated July 29, 2026. The company has informed that the production of the company has been closed since 01 January 2024 and continue to till date due to insufficient gas supply. Now the Board authorized to the Management of the Company to restart the factory as well as ensure repair and maintenance to go the company in operation. The company has also informed that as per decision of the Management, it has already procured new Boiler Machine, new Transformer, Electric Power Substation and the installation of these machines are under process. Moreover, the company also repairing the refinery unit as well as total plant and machineries of the factory. The total amount of procurement and maintenance may worth BDT 10.00 Crore (approx.).

This is for the information of all concerned that DSE sent a query letter regarding unusual hike in price and volume of shares to Emerald Oil Industries Ltd. on May 24, 2026. However, the company has not provided any response yet.

In response to the DSE query dated 03.12.2025, the company has informed that there is no undisclosed price sensitive information of the company for recent unusual price hike and increase in volume of shares.
