Emerging Credit Rating Limited (ECRL) has assigned Surveillance rating of the Company as "BBB-" in the long term and "ST-3" in the short term along with a Stable outlook based on audited financial statements up to December 31, 2025 and other relevant quantitative as well as qualitative information up to the date of rating.

(Q2 Un-audited): Consolidated EPS was Tk. (3.58) for April-June 2026 as against Tk. (2.37) (restated) for April-June 2025; Consolidated EPS was Tk. (7.10) for January-June 2026 as against Tk. (3.06) (restated) for January-June 2025. NOCFPS (Solo) was Tk. (2.27) for January-June 2026 as against Tk. (9.26) for January-June 2025. Consolidated NAV per share was Tk. (14.49) as on June 30, 2026 and Tk. (1.91) as on June 30, 2025. (cont.1) During the period, the Bank was unable to recognize interest income on loans and advances that had been rescheduled with grace periods as well as on delinquent loans due to non-recovery. In addition, interest expenses on deposits and borrowings remain same resulting in an operating loss for the period. Consequently, Earnings Per Share (EPS), Net Asset Value (NAV), and Net Operating Cash Flow Per Share (NOCFPS) recorded significant adverse variances. (cont.2) Despite these challenges, the Board of Directors and Management remain committed to restoring the Bank's financial strength through intensified recovery initiatives, mobilization of low-cost deposits and other strategic measures to improve overall financial performance.

Dhaka Stock Exchange PLC. (DSE) has approved the proposed name change of the Company. Accordingly, the name of the Company will be 'National Bank PLC.' instead of 'National Bank Limited' with effect from June 10, 2026. Other information (except name) will remain unchanged.

Trading of the shares of the company will be allowed only in the Spot Market and Block transaction will also be settled as per spot settlement cycle from 10.06.2026 to 14.06.2026 and trading of the shares will remain suspended on record date i.e., 15.06.2026.
